Ash-Karan---something not well. (post.no4)

Everything doesn't seem to be going well between close friends Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karan Johar, or so some reports would have you believe. Aishwarya is apparently miffed with Karan Johar for skipping her father's funeral. Krishnaraj Rai, Aishwarya's father, passed away on March 18.
While most B-Towners were seen at the Bachchan residence over the couple of days after the death of Krishnaraj Rai, Karan Johar was conspicuous by his absence. The filmmaker, who shares a very close bond with Aishwarya, set tongues wagging about a probable rift between him and Ash.
A report in India.com quoted a source who elucidated the reason behind the differences between KJo and Ash, "Post the success of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, KJo reached out to the actress expressing interest in doing another film with her, but she gave him a cold shoulder. They haven't been on great terms with each other ever since."
While this was speculated as the reason Karan kept away from Aishwarya's father's funeral, fresh reports say that it was not the case.
Karan had been busy with his kids Yash and Roohi, who are both in the ICU since the day they were born. The kids, born via surrogacy, were a few weeks premature.
"Both the kids have been in the NICU ever since they were born. They are supposed to come home any day now. Karan has been spending most of his free time at the hospital or making arrangements for the kids at home," a source told the website.
Karan Johar has been on his toes ever since his kids arrived. The filmmaker, speaking at the India Today Conclave 2017, said how he was both the mother and the father of his children. "I'm the mother of my children," Karan said, and went on to add, "I'm more of the mother than the father of my children."
